Detailed stuff! I like how much attention to detail's gone into it all.
Just randomly, I thought, if you had a bug as a character and wanted to change it either temporarily or permanently in the story at any point, well, being an insect leaves you room to change everything about its appearance and abilities under the explanation of 'it's breeding season' or 'it's life stage/morph number ___' etc... Flexible character basis, insects. Very cool. I like to do a lot of imaginary animals and insects myself.
